Starting at 6 a.m., Monday May 16, and ending 12 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, salmon, steelhead, shad, carp, catfish, walleye, bass and yellow perch can be sold or retained for subsistence use.
Sturgeon between 38 and 54 inches fork length in the Bonneville Pool may be kept for subsistence use only.
The same rule applies to sturgeon between 43 and 54 inches fork length in The Dalles and John Day pools, subsistence use only for sturgeon. All oversize and undersize sturgeon must be released unharmed.
Fish harvested during the open period may be sold after it closes.
Closed areas applicable to platform gear are in effect.
The Spring Creek Hatchery sanctuary is not necessary this time of year.
