The Jefferson County 509-J School District is seeking input to utilize in the search for a new superintendent. Current superintendent Rick Molitor has given notice that he will step down at the end of June 2017.
Public Meetings were held in Madras on December 13, 2016. There is also an opportunity to give feedback online. Everyone is encouraged to participate. You can go to the school district website: http://www.jcsd.k12.or.us/ and scroll down to the box that says “Community, Students, Staff.”
The survey is designed to identify: things that will encourage good candidates to apply for the position; issues to be discussed during the interview process; and the qualities & qualifications desired in a new superintendent. All responses are anonymous.
